Kellen Moore
Moore, who finished 50-3 as a starter from 2008-11, holds the NCAA all-time record for wins by a starting quarterback. Moore led the Broncos to the 2010 Fiesta Bowl and finished fourth as a Heisman Trophy finalist the following season. He finished with a school-record 14,667 passing yards.
Randy Trautman
Trautman is the only Boise State football player in the College Football Hall of Fame. He proved to be a menace in the middle from 1978-81 as a two-time All-American. He also helped the Broncos win the Division I-AA national title in 1980. Trautman compiled 266 total tackles — which doesn't sound like much — until you realize he played on the interior line.
Ryan Clady
Clady — a 6-foot-6, 315-pound mammoth — played both tackle positions from 2005-07, and he was part of Boise State's 43-42 win against Oklahoma in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl. Clady was taken with the No. 12 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, the highest pick ever at Boise State.
Cedric Minter
Several of Boise State's modern running backs have put up numbers, but nobody topped Minter's school record of 4,475 rushing yards. The 5-10, 190-pounder also had a single-game record 261 yards against Northern Michigan in 1978. Minter led the Broncos to the I-AA national championship in 1980.
Ian Johnson
Johnson is best-known for proposing to his girlfriend after scoring the game-winning two-point conversion on a Statue of Liberty play against Oklahoma in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl. That overshadows his role as a workhorse running back from 2005-08. He still holds the Broncos' record for career rushing TDs (58).
Doug Martin
Martin proved to be the prototype between-the-tackles back during the Chris Petersen era. Martin put together back-to-back seasons with more than 1,200 rushing yards from 2010-11. Martin had 17 games with at least 100 yards rushing for his career and went on to be a first-round pick with Tampa Bay in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Ryan Dinwiddie
Dinwiddie set the standard for Broncos quarterbacks in the BCS Era. A hyper-efficient passer with gaudy statistics, Dinwiddie led Boise State's rise to national prominence from 2000-03. Dinwiddie threw for more than 500 yards twice in the 2003 season and had a 14-1 record at home as a starter.
Brock Forsey
Forsey had good size at 6-feet, 203 pounds, and he improved with each year before putting together a monster senior season in 2002. He had 1,611 rushing yards and 26 TDs that year, and that included two four-TD games.
John Rade
Rade was a two-time All-Big Sky linebacker at Boise State in 1981-82. He had 171 tackles in two seasons, but is best remembered for registering eight tackles for loss in a game against Utah State in 1982. Rade went on to play for the Atlanta Falcons from 1983-91.
Erik Helgeson
Helgeson put up 54.5 sacks at Boise State from 1987-90 as a dominant edge rusher. He added 68.5 tackles for loss and was a three-time All-American. Helgeson is part of a long line of defensive linemen from Boise State, a group that includes Marcus Koch, Pete Kwiatkowski, Chris Wing and Billy Winn.
